Submissions for the 7th London Bengali Film Festival is now closed. Details below are for reference only. No submissions will be accepted.

You can submit your films in two different ways. The FilmFreeway option allows you to submit up until the late deadline which is the 20th of January 2024 and the tradional method only allows you to submit until the 31st of December 2023.

Summary

We welcome films that are commercial and non commercial, independent and artistic.  Whether they have been made in West Bengal, Bangladesh or any part of the world, even if not in the language of Bengali, but they must fit to at least one of the following in addition to the full rules:

1. Writer or Director or Producer must be Bengali or have a Bengali heritage (any nationality) OR
2. The main character must be Bengali OR
3. The story must be set or be about Bengal or an issue affecting the Bengali Diaspora

3. Submit - Email us your form, including the online screener link AND the Paypal payment reference. (This is the easiest method)

 

OTHER OPTIONS (Delivery / Cheque Payment)

A - You may also post the form and a DVD direct to our UK office (address on form)

B - If you are in Dhaka (Bangladesh) or Kolkata (India) and you wish to pay by cheque, hand deliver your form and film, you may do so to one of our associate offices. For this method please email us before hand for details. :
