But, as depicted in the film Brihonnola, humanity has the strength to combat and neutralist the poisonous effects of these evils on the lives of the villagers.

1659. Mughal India. The imperial court, a place of opulence and excess; music, drugs, eunuchs and harems. Two brothers, whose mother’s death inspired the Taj Mahal, are heirs to this Muslim empire. Now they fight ferociously for succession.

SEMINAR: Lighting for Indy Film

FILM: A Ray of Light

A key part in any film is lighting for independent films. This seminar is lead by JP Caldeano, who has worked on various platforms, from independent films, to music videos and TVC's.

Every happy 'Family Album' is picture-perfect with smiley, but what if you clicked on a hidden link that exposes everyone's crazy secrets and lies. What if your sister, soon-to-be-married, has a friend who's a girl who's not just a friend? What if your responsible father has his own bag of skeletons in his closet? This is a movie that exposes the not-so picture-perfect Family Album.

Dr. Somshankar Roy, a social scientist, engages Swagato and Anwesha to create 'mock' crisis on the streets. The aim was to observe reactions of people to different forms of crisis happening around them, and to analyse and derive conclusions about human behaviour from them. But all theories and deductions go astray when they come face to face with a real crisis in their own lives and cannot decipher whether the crisis is MOCK or REAL.
